For a small, non-profit organization, these are unprecedented and trying times. Dog Mountain needs your support more than ever! Here are some ways you can lend a paw:



Dog Mountain Plans to Keep You Safe The Stephen Huneck Gallery, Dog Chapel, and Dog Mountain grounds are all open. Click Here for our current hours.

Beginning June 1, 2021, Dog Mountain will follow the recommendations of the CDC and the State of Vermont's Executive Order Addendum 16 and no longer require that fully vaccinated staff and visitors wear face masks indoors. The new rules at Dog Mountain are as follows:

Stephen Huneck Gallery & Dog Chapel:

  • Unvaccinated: Masks are required. Masks covering the nose and mouth must be worn at all times when inside the Gallery and Dog Chapel.
  • Fully Vaccinated: Masks are not required. A person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine series, or two weeks after a single dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
  • Bathroom For Customer Use Only: The Gallery bathroom is reserved for staff and Gallery customers. There are portable toilets located on the grounds for guest usage.

Dog Mountain Grounds:

  • Masks Are Not Required: Masks are not required when outdoors on Dog Mountain.
  • Keep Dog Mountain Clean: Please pick up after yourself and your dog.
